NOT A STAIN THAT RESISTS
Share
We have created the manual that you always need to have near your washing machine.
Surely you have ever stained yourself with ink, blood or chocolate and wondered how to remove that stain.
We tell you the solution for each of the following stains:
- GREASE: Sprinkle talcum powder on the stain and, as the grease is absorbed, brush off the excess and repeat the application.
- BLOOD: Soak the fabric in cold water with a handful of salt. Mix a tablespoon of baking soda with a little water to make a paste. Apply the paste to the dried blood stain and let it sit.
If the fabric is white you can also try hydrogen peroxide.
- INK: Ballpoint or marker ink usually comes out by leaving it to soak in milk overnight.
Keep ink stains moist by using a cotton pad moistened with cold water, but be careful not to spread the ink. Place another dry cotton pad under the garment so that it does not stain the other part of the fabric.
Next, wipe it with a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol or cleaning alcohol.
- RUST: Apply lemon juice, cover with a layer of fine salt and leave for an hour, rinse with cold water and wash the garment.
- If you have gum stuck to it, put the garment in the freezer or rub it with an ice cube to harden it. Place baking paper on top and use a hot iron; the gum will stick to the paper. You can also try carefully scraping it off with a knife.
